Work in progress -Burns & rivers within Burns Corridor, many of them mentioned in his songs and poems: Afton, flows through New Cumnock, Ayrshire where it enters the Nith. Annan, Annick, Ayr, Cairn, Cessnock, Coyle, Dalwhat, Doon, leaves Loch Doon near Dalmellington and makes its way to Doonfoot, south of Ayr via Waterside, Patna, Dalrymple, Doonholm and Alloway. Euchan, Fenwick, Garnock, Girvan, Glenmuir, Irvine, Ken, Kello, Lochar, Lugton, Lugar, Nith, flows north from its source near Enoch Hill, then west through New Cumnock, Ayrshire and across the march into Dumfriesshire on its way to the Solway Firth, via Kirkconnel, Sanquhar, Mennock, Carronbridge, Thornhill, Closeburn, Ellisland Farm, Hollywood, Newbridge, Dumfries, Kingholm Quay, and Glencaple.
