In the spirit of Robert Burns, 'all things Scottish' represents the Heart and Soul of Scotland. RT Burns Club was founded on the internet in 2007 and is proud to now be one of the largest Burns Clubs, with over 1300 members including our popular facebook group. The club became a member of the Robert Burns World Federation in 2009 and our new website was launched on the 25th January, 2010. In addition to helping spread the word on the importance and lasting legacy of Robert Burns, whose inspiring, heartfelt words are as relevant today as ever and all things Scottish, we aim to raise money for charitable causes with events and by selling club merchandise. Some of the charities we have been honoured to donate to, include the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, Breakthrough Breast Cancer Research, Edinburgh, Royal Sick Children's Hospital, Yorkhill and The Robert Burns Grove, Trees For Life Organization. With our dedicated team and members, we gather support hoping a major film will be made on the life of Robert Burns and are campaigning for a Burns Corridor Network. We are also devoted to promoting our talented friends and members, an eclectic mix of Burnsians, artists, singers, musicians, performers and writers from around the world, achieve their goals. We have made many special friends as we learned more about Robert Burns and Scotland and are proud to have brought together many professional and talented people from Scotland and around the world, forming a rather wonderful Clan of our own, all working together and supporting each other, Robert Burns and Scotland. Hope you accept the outstretched hand of friendship and decide to join RT Burns Club. Why not take a look at RT Burns Facebook? You'll like it: www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=31125890780
