The A76, the spine of Burns Corridor, is a major trunk road in south west Scotland. From Kilmarnock in Ayrshire, the A76 goes through or immediately by-passes Hurlford, Mauchline, Auchinleck, Cumnock, and New Cumnock (before entering Dumfries and Galloway and continuing through), Kirkconnel, Sanquhar, Mennock, Enterkinfoot, Carronbridge, Thornhill, Closeburn, Auldgirth and Holywood to Dumfries.

Find Fenwick at: www.visionofbritain.org.uk/place/place_page.jsp?p_id=16852Nearby Crawfurdland Estate is worth a visit from what I've seen on their website. About: Enjoy walks, wildlife, mountain bike trails or fly fish on the beautiful Lochan which our little cafe overlooks. Superior self catering is available in the Tower House of Craufurdland Castle, along with pet boarding and doggy day care with a difference. Description: Just 20 minutes from Glasgow. Craufurdland Castle appeared on Channel 4' County House Rescue in july 2012. The cafe is open daily serving freshly prepared bacon or sausage buttie and a range of panninis, complimented by the fabulous home baking of Christine Craufurd. www.facebook.com/CafeLochan
