The A76 trunk road is more or less the spine of the Burns Corridor Network and there are so many towns and villages on and near it worth visiting. Sanquhar has always been one of my favourites and now it has "A' The Airts" which includes a "real" cafe. Sanquhar is well worth a stop-off when you're passing through. www.all-the-airts.com/ A’ the Airts (All the ways) opened in November 2010 8-12 High Street, Sanquhar (A76), Dumfriesshire.
